The Murphy Pack - Canine Leisure Centre consists of a team of competent and commited dog lovers. Our focus is to keep your dogs happy, safe and engaged and to love them as we do our own dogs.
Lynne manages all aspects of the business, she is an experienced dog handler who worked at a local veterinary surgery for 6 years before beginning a career in the disability and special needs industry. Experience as Managing Director of a medical equipment company gave Lynne the confidence to follow her dream combining her passion for dogs and making their lives better with business that gives dog owners more options.
Lynne's has four Jack Russell Terriers called Spot, Ted, Jimmy and Barney were the inspiration for The Murphy Pack. Spot and Ted are licensed therapy dogs with Spot also being a diabetes alert dog and both trained Autism assistance dogs. You will find them at the centre most days they love it there and they love being around other dogs and are very playful!
Ronan has been grooming and handling dogs for over five years, working in Parklands Veterinary Clinic for two of those years. Ronan has also been running his own petsitting business for more than three years and studied Veterinary Medicine in the University of Liverpool for a year. This background gives him great experience for handling your precious pooch. You can be assured that your dogs are in trustworthy capable hands.
Anna is adored by all our doggy visitors she is well known for being the cuddler of the group making sure every dog gets plenty of cuddles and attention! They all want to be on "Auntie Anna's" lap!
Anna has completed her Level 2 & 3 Animal Care and volunteers at Almost Home Rescue in Moira.
She loves hiking and walking and has just recently rescued a stunning Golden Retriever pup named Lilo ! Previously Anna had Jack Russell Pomeranian mix Dexter and Kenzi and Pomeranian Chihuahua mix.
Leanne is most certainly an all round animal lover having experience of working in a cattery and zoo too! Leanne is a part-time music teacher in St Catherine's Armagh and music is most certainly her other big passion in life. Leanne brings lots of skills from the classroom right into daycare..patience, teamwork, dedication and keeping a calm head! With Anna, Leanne has just recently rescued a stunning Golden Retriever pup named Lilo ! Previously Leanne had two King Charles Spaniels Max and Charlie.
Georgia is a great asset to our team she has a great way with the dogs and unlimited patience and cool head. Georgia is currently studying Animal Management and provides basic training 1-on-1.
She has a Daschaund mix called Carla and German Shepard called Remi who she has nurtured from a very nervous pup to a confident playful young dog who is wonderful with others. Georgia loves large breeds and working dogs and has a Labrador pup arriving soon (Due to be born 6th August) which we are all very excited about!
Jade is the big agility enthusiast of the team. She spent years with her Blue Merle Collie doing agility sadly he passed away after many happy years companionship last September leaving
Jade heartbroken. Jade currently has a beautiful young Rottweiler called Bear who is super playful and fun loving and a gorgeous Shiite cross named Kitty who is a whizz doing agility. Jade has worked previously at Lettergreen Kennels in Tandragee and is a Care assistant at a local nursing home as well as volunteering for St John's Ambulance. Her empathetic and caring nature shines through when she is with our dogs.
Francesca is studying Animal Science at the Monaghan Institute of Further Education and has just completed her Level 6 Animal Science and is a qualified canine first responder. As well as experience working in a veterinary practice and dog shelter. Francesca has had lots of breeds throughout her life including Collies, Dobermans, Setters and Huskies. She currently has a Doberman and a Setter Mix. Our dogs love to play with Francesca and she always manages to get lovely photos of them in action.
Caoimhe is loved by our dogs as she's so much fun and has bags of energy. Caoimhe is a student currently working towards a career in Animal care. Caoimhe has experience of working at Lurgan Veterinary Clinic and Antrim boarding kennels and is from a farming background. She is a keen sportswoman and plays camogie and gaelic football.
Zoe is an active volunteer at Almost Home rescue in Moira working in the puppy unit. Zoe has two Schnauzers and a cocker spaniel called Reuben.
Zoe is a very warm, fun and positive person and our dogs love playing with her . Aside from dogs Zoe also loves fashion and reading.
Rebecca is very gentle and caring towards all the dogs. She had labradors and retrievers herself previously but also loves small breeds. She now has a new Red Setter puppy and is working through the various stages of puppy training at home. Outside of her love for dogs Rebecca works with a summer scheme for disadvantaged children and enjoys the outdoors.
Rebecca is a qualified Animal Nurse Assistant and has worked at veterinary clinics, dog groomers and kennels previously. She is most comfortable and at home when she is working with animals.
Rebecca spends most of her time looking after her own four dogs and loves to keep fit.
Niamh is gaining great work experience assisting our daycare staff with Animal husbandary tasks and care. She has her own Rough Collie called Charlie. Niamh loves caring for all the dogs and helps with feeding, brushing and the day to day tasks at weekends and school holidays. Niamh has a great way with the dogs and is very hardworking and dedicated.
Sophie is also getting work experience with us. She helps our daycare staff with the day to day husbandary and hygiene tasks. Sophie is a wonderful help with feeding and is always happy to assist with the dogs care. She helps out during weekends and holidays. Sophie is a keen horserider and when she isn't working with dogs she's working with horses often helping muck out at the Equestrian Centre and tending to the ponies.

|We are open for Doggy Day Care and Play Sessions mon to Friday 7.30am to 6.30pm. We open by appointment for private evening sessions. We have 3 Social & Play sessions on Saturdays. Places for which are booked in advance.|
